See answers to the most frequently asked questions about our off-road routes.
Who are our off-road routes for?
We create off-road routes primarily for users of 4×4 vehicles. Many routes are also suitable for quads and touring/cross motorcycles.
For navigation, a smartphone with the Maps.Me app (Android/iOS) is sufficient. The set includes KML files for Maps.Me and GPX files for Garmin devices.
Are the routes legal?
Yes – the routes mainly run along public and generally accessible roads. Occasional exceptions (e.g. customary roads with uncertain legal status) are always described in the route documentation.
Remember: traffic regulations, signs and local restrictions must be respected. Responsibility for driving always lies with the driver.
How are our off-road routes updated?
Our routes are continuously updated. When a driving ban appears or a section becomes impassable, we introduce corrections.
On the route pages in the off-roadrunner.com shop we publish the date of the last update. Before departure, check that you have the latest version. If less than a year has passed since purchase and you have not yet used the route, the updated version is free of charge.
Do you see something that needs improvement? Report it in the WhatsApp or Facebook group or by e-mail (info@polishoffroad.com). We reward specific information with discounts.
Who is responsible for safety on the route?
The driver is always responsible for safety. They must adapt driving to conditions, ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and comply with regulations.
Some off-road sections may be demanding even for experienced crews. The organizer is not responsible for accidents, fines or damages.
If you encounter a barrier, prohibition or obstacle on an off-road route, choose a detour and inform us and other participants, preferably via the WhatsApp or Facebook group or by e-mail (info@polishoffroad.com).
